Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals (DS Elite) is mobilizing neighborhoods across the community for its annual Food & Diaper Drive benefiting Helping Hands of Dripping Springs, taking place April 6-21, 2026.
This community-wide effort aims to collect essential pantry items and baby supplies to support local families experiencing food insecurity. Helping Hands serves individuals and families throughout Dripping Springs, working to ensure that no neighbor goes hungry.
DS Elite members will lead donation efforts within their neighborhoods, encouraging residents to contribute items such as peanut butter, pasta, canned goods, rice, and other non-perishables, as well as high-need items like diapers, pull-ups, and baby wipes.
In addition to community donations, Dripping Springs Elite will contribute $1,000 toward the initiative by partnering with Dripping Springs’ H-E-B to purchase high-need pantry items, ensuring Helping Hands is stocked with essential goods for local families.
“This is one of those initiatives where the entire community can come together and make an immediate impact,” said Kristen Rummel, Chair of the DS Elite Charitable Giving Committee. “When neighbors help neighbors, it creates something really powerful.”
Community Engagement and Volunteer Opportunities
The drive includes multiple opportunities for both DS Elite members and the community to get involved:
April 2 – Brown bag pickup for neighborhood distribution at DS Elite’s Salt Lick lunch with Advertisers
April 6 – Social media campaign launches to encourage community participation
April 6–21 – Official Food & Diaper Drive collection period
April 22 – Volunteer donation pickup day
April 28 – Group volunteer day and supply pickup at H-E-B
The campaign also provides flexible ways to give. Community members can donate items, request porch pickups through neighborhood coordination, drop off contributions through DS Elite members, or give financially using the QR codes included on the official flyer.
