Meet Elite’s Alexia Dauterive, Austin Portfolio Real Estate Agent

Meet one of the dedicated agent members of Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals, whose journey from a CPA to a successful Realtor has been fueled by a passion for helping clients achieve their real estate dreams. With a strong background in accounting and a flair for interior design, this agent has turned her skills into a powerful tool for analyzing market trends, pricing homes accurately, and offering complimentary staging services. Her story is one of building meaningful connections in the Dripping Springs community while balancing a fulfilling personal life.

What is your favorite part of being an agent?

I find great fulfillment in helping clients buy or sell one of the most significant investments of their lives and witnessing the joy and satisfaction they experience when their goals are achieved. Buying and selling a home is an emotional journey for most people, and I strive to empathize with my clients by putting myself in their shoes and experiencing the process alongside them.

What do you like most about being an agent in Dripping Springs?

My career has afforded me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people in our community over the years. I thrive on building new relationships and making meaningful connections, which makes this role ideal for me. Additionally, I enjoy networking with other agents who live and work in the Dripping Springs area, as we often share common interests and experiences.

What is your superpower (specialty)?

My previous career was in accounting. I’m a retired CPA turned Realtor. My training gives me a strong aptitude for analyzing data and pricing homes more precisely. I relate well to professionals who share this analytical mindset. In addition, I have a passion for interior design and staging, having grown up in a family of interior designers. My specialty lies in staging homes; I own a staging company and offer complimentary staging services to my seller clients.

If you could describe your ideal workday, what would it look like?

My ideal workday begins early, enjoying coffee on my deck while reading my Bible. After taking my kids to school, I would attend a closing, have lunch with a friend, and then meet a new client—either at their home to discuss selling it or with a buyer to show them a few properties.

What is the value in being a part of DS Elite that benefits your clients?

Being part of DS Elite offers a unique advantage through my personal connection with 24 other agents—something quite rare in the real estate industry. We meet two or three times a month to provide feedback on each other's listings, collaborate on ideas, conduct Mastermind meetings, share resources, and offer advice when needed. My clients benefit from this network, gaining access to the shared knowledge of 25 agents and approximately 300 years of combined experience.

When you aren’t closing deals and making your clients overjoyed, what do you like to do?

Our family owns a short-term rental lake house on Lake LBJ, so we often spend our time there whenever we have a free weekend. Our three teenagers usually bring friends along, so it's always a full house! We enjoy activities like boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, and creating lifelong memories.

What is something new that is going on with you that you'd like the community to know?

All three of my children are now in high school. My oldest daughter is a senior, currently applying to colleges, and we are preparing for her departure next May. While visiting colleges, we are cherishing this final year with her at home. She is also enrolled in the real estate program at Dripping Springs High School, planning to intern with me this year and study for her real estate license. She hopes to work part-time in real estate while attending college.
