Dripping Springs Elite Partners with Local Advertisers to Donate to Four Charities in Celebration of the Holidays

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals teamed up with four of its Advertisers to make charitable contributions totaling $1,000. Each Advertiser of the 34 who attended the holiday party earlier this month selected a nonprofit close to their heart. Members of DS Elite randomly drew four names. Each selected charity received a $250 donation, with the checks being written by Dripping Springs Elite on behalf of the Advertisers.

Kimberly Watson, SVP/Branch Executive of SouthStar Bank, selected the Burke Center for Youth as her charity of choice. Watson shared, “There are so many worthy causes in Dripping Springs, but the Burke Center for Youth has always had a special place in my heart. My nephew lived with us for many years growing up, and he often shares the profound impact that experience had on his life. The Burke Center is a lifeline for boys with nowhere else to turn — providing not only a safe home, but also intensive mental health care and therapies like equine therapy, which is truly transforming lives. The work they do every day is nothing short of inspiring, and I’m proud to support such an important organization.”

Mike Coble, Branch Manager of Premier Residential Mortgage, chose Dripping Springs Helping Hands Food Pantry as his nonprofit. Helping Hands is a local organization that provides food and essential resources to families in need within the Dripping Springs community. Coble said, “Helping Hands does so much to ensure no one in our area goes hungry, and their work helps strengthen the fabric of our community. I’m proud to support their ongoing efforts to provide food and aid to families during tough times.”

Hunter Dolinger, owner of Black Slate Roofing, selected the https://centraltexas.foldsofhonor.org/ as his charity of choice. Folds of Honor is a national organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen or disabled military service members. Dolinger expressed, “Folds of Honor provides a vital service to the families of those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Their mission to ensure that those left behind have access to education is something I’m deeply proud to support.”

Hillary Burris, owner of Pool Scouts, selected Prevent A Litter Central Texas for her donation. A nonprofit organization that works to reduce the number of unwanted pets in Central Texas through education, spaying, neutering, and adoption services, Prevent a Litter is able to dramatically reduce the pet populations. Burris commented, “Prevent a Litter Central Texas is doing essential work to help control the pet population and ensure that animals find loving homes. Their mission aligns with my values, and I’m happy to support their efforts to create a better future for animals in our community.”

“We are proud to support these advertisers and the important causes they have selected,” said Mica Gutierrez, member of the DS Elite Charitable Giving Committee and Realtor with Compass Real Estate. “The $250 donations to each organization are part of our annual budget to support area nonprofits.”

Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals is a professional organization of top agents from different brokerages who collaborate with each other along with top home services companies, called Advertisers, to benefit buyers and sellers in the area.
