Some businesses begin with a plan — others begin with faith. For Chase Ruston, owner and operator of Proverbs 3:5 Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning, the company was built on both.
Founded in August 2021, Proverbs 3:5 was born out of what Chase calls a “leap of faith and trusting in Jesus.” With no prior experience in the industry, Chase felt called to start something new — and that calling turned into a thriving business that now serves homeowners and commercial clients throughout Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Wimberley and Austin.
A Mission Rooted in Faith
“Our name says it all,” Chase explains. “Proverbs 3:5 reminds us to ‘Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.’”
That mindset guides every project, from house washing and roof cleaning to window washing, gutter cleaning, parking lot striping, surface cleaning and even Christmas light installation.
Chase adds, “We never saw ourselves going into business, but God directed us here. Now, we see the need to bring back honor and trust into the blue-collar industry — and that’s exactly what we’re in pursuit of doing.”
Integrity in Every Job
Proverbs 3:5 Pressure Washing stands apart through its commitment to workmanship that reflects a higher purpose. Citing Colossians 3:23, Chase says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
That belief means every job… whether a small driveway wash or a large commercial property… is done with care, honesty and accountability. “When nobody’s looking, it’s easy to cut corners,” Chase says. “But when you remember who you’re really working for, you do things right.”
Simplifying the Process
One of the company’s most popular offerings is its Wash Club Memberships, created for clients who want consistent results without the hassle of re-booking every time. “It’s for people who want that ‘clean-and-forget’ service,” Chase explains. “They know their property will stay looking great, and it’s going to be done right every time.”
With each visit, the team approaches service with curiosity, listening and options; a formula that keeps clients coming back.
A Milestone to Remember
Among their proudest achievements was taking on the LedgeStone Senior Living project across from Belterra Village. “It was our biggest job in company history: a four-story building with a lot of unknowns,” Chase recalls. “We had to figure out the safest way to clean those top-story windows while keeping residents safe. It was challenging, but such a blessing to serve the LedgeStone community.”
Faith, Family and Community
For Chase, Dripping Springs represents more than a market. It’s a mission field and a home. “By far, my favorite part of working here is the people. This community is incredibly supportive of local businesses, and the Hill Country is just beautiful,” he says.
When he’s not out cleaning properties, you’ll find him with his church family at First Baptist Wimberley, spending time in fellowship. “That encouragement keeps us grounded and focused on serving others through our business,” Chase shares.
