Q: Can you tell us a little about your background?
A: I’m an Austin native, born and raised, and graduated from Austin High School. I later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I studied business. My real estate career began in 1998 as an on-site apartment manager at SCG Real Estate, Ltd. Soon after, I obtained my real estate license and opened Tower Real Estate, Inc. on the UT campus. As the business grew, it evolved into Friedman Real Estate Inc., which is now located in Southwest Austin.
Q: What makes your knowledge of Austin unique?
A: Growing up in the Austin metropolitan area has given me firsthand experience of its growth from San Marcos to Georgetown. My career has been centered around Austin’s rapidly changing market, allowing me to provide clients with valuable insights.
Q: What areas of real estate do you specialize in?
A: Since starting my real estate journey in 1994, I’ve worked in commercial, residential, land, and farm and ranch properties across Texas. Friedman Real Estate embraces all opportunities, believing that no deal is too big, too small, or too far.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: My wife, who is a dedicated Speech Pathologist, and I live in Dripping Springs with our two daughters, Reese and Kurry. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family on our ranch in South Texas. As a true Austinite, I also love exploring the city’s live music scene and its ever-growing list of local restaurants.
