We are proud to announce our latest community initiative: a partnership with the incredible PAWS Shelter of Central Texas. As part of our ongoing charitable giving to local nonprofits, we presented a $1,000 donation to PAWS to help support their operational costs, medical care, and safe housing for animals awaiting their forever families.

More Than a Check: Raising Awareness Since Late September

Our support for PAWS is a multi-faceted mission. Since late September, DS Elite members have been actively volunteering and dedicating our platform to highlight the shelter’s long-stay dogs and cats.

• The Challenge: Statistics show that the longer an animal remains in a shelter — even a wonderful no-kill facility like PAWS — the more difficult it becomes for them to be adopted.

• The Action: We're helping to share the stories and faces of these deserving pets, encouraging our community to consider adoption, fostering, or making a donation to directly impact their lives. As a no-kill shelter, PAWS provides dedicated care and love for however long it takes for a pet to find a home.

• The Impact: Our financial contribution supplements the invaluable care PAWS provides as they rescue animals, ensure they receive all necessary veterinary care, and work to resolve the pet overpopulation crisis.

Samantha LeBlanc, DS Elite member and Realtor, who also serves on the PAWS Board of Directors said, "My passion for the Dripping Springs community extends directly to our most vulnerable members: the long-stay animals at PAWS. Serving on the PAWS Board of Directors gives me a firsthand understanding of the critical need for both financial support and volunteer awareness. In addition to helping spread the word and contributing this check, DS Elite collected $900 worth of much needed donations with people dropping off at the annual community-wide Shred Day in October and making monetary contributions.
