Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals (DS Elite) wrapped up its 2026 Food & Diaper Drive benefiting Helping Hands of Dripping Springs with an outpouring of community support, collecting nearly 1,300 pounds of food and diapers for local families in need.

The community-wide drive, held April 6–21, rallied neighborhoods across Dripping Springs to donate pantry staples, baby supplies, and financial contributions. The final total included DS Elite’s $1,000 H-E-B purchase of high-need grocery items identified by Helping Hands, along with more than $250 in additional monetary donations collected through the campaign QR code.

On April 28, DS Elite members -- real estate agents -- volunteered their time at Helping Hands to deliver donations, sort inventory, and stock pantry shelves.

“This drive was a true example of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose,” said Audra Burtch, Realty Austin Compass agent and coordinating member of the DS Elite Charitable Giving Committee’s 2026 Food Drive. “From neighborhood donations to financial gifts and volunteer hours, every contribution helped make an impact for local families who rely on Helping Hands throughout the year.”

The drive focused on collecting essential pantry staples and baby items, including peanut butter, pasta, rice, canned goods, diapers, wipes, and pull-ups. Donations came from DS Elite members, neighbors, clients, friends, families, and community supporters throughout the Dripping Springs area.

Helping Hands of Dripping Springs provides food assistance and essential support services to individuals and families facing hardship, working to ensure that no neighbor goes hungry.

This initiative is part of DS Elite’s ongoing quarterly charitable giving efforts for 2026, which combines financial support with hands-on community service throughout the year.
