Holiday photos, live music from local musician Frank Iarossi, PAWlomas, raffles and a $1,000 donation will make this a festive afternoon for a good cause

Grab the family, bring the dog and get ready to Deck the PAWS! Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals (DS Elite) invites the community to a festive holiday fundraiser benefiting PAWS Shelter of Central Texas on Saturday, November 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Dripping Springs Distilling, 5330 Bell Springs Road in Dripping Springs.

Deck the PAWS will combine holiday fun with fundraising for local animals in need. Guests can bring their families, their pets, or both for holiday photos in front of a festive red vintage truck professionally photographed by Carissa Hoopes Photography. A $15 donation to PAWS is requested for the photo session.

The afternoon will also feature raffle opportunities and a special “PAWloma,” with a portion of proceeds from the Dripping Springs Distillery cocktail benefiting PAWS.

As part of the event, Dripping Springs Elite will present PAWS Shelter of Central Texas with a $1,000 donation, continuing the organization’s 2026 commitment to support local nonprofits through financial contributions, volunteerism and community engagement.

“What makes Deck the PAWS so special is the generosity behind it. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone donating their time and talents to help us support PAWS, including Carissa Hoopes, who is giving families and their pets a wonderful way to capture a holiday memory, and musician Frank Iarossi, who is helping make the afternoon even more festive. It takes a community to make an event like this happen, and we’re so appreciative of everyone who is stepping up to be part of it,” said Samantha LeBlanc, agent and member of the Dripping Springs Elite Charitable Giving Committee.

PAWS Shelter of Central Texas is a no-kill rescue based in Dripping Springs that has served Central Texas since 1986. The organization rescues and cares for vulnerable dogs and cats while working to find them permanent, loving homes. Donations help support needs ranging from food and everyday care to vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures and other veterinary care.

“Deck the PAWS is designed to be something the whole community can enjoy while supporting an organization doing important work right here in Dripping Springs,” said LeBlanc. “Come out, get a great holiday photo, enjoy the afternoon and help us raise even more for PAWS.”

Dripping Springs Distilling offers craft cocktails, food and outdoor seating on its Hill Country property. Pets are welcome in its outdoor areas and must remain on a leash.

Those who cannot attend but would still like to support PAWS may make a donation in advance through the event fundraising page. Guests planning to participate in the holiday photos are asked to wait until the day of the event to make their $15 photo donation, so organizers can collect the contact information needed to deliver their photographs.
