Got a drawer full of old tax documents? Boxes of paperwork taking up space in the office? Files you know you don’t need anymore but don’t want to simply toss in the trash?
It’s time to clear the clutter.
Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals is bringing back its annual FREE Community-Wide Shred Day on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is open to both residents and local businesses looking for a convenient way to securely dispose of unwanted documents.
The professional shred truck will be set up in the Keller Williams parking lot behind McDonald’s in downtown Dripping Springs at 333 E. Hwy. 290, Bldg. 3, Ste. 300.
Why Shred Instead of Toss?
Old paperwork can contain more personal information than we realize. Bank statements, tax records, bills, account information, outdated business files and other documents may include information you wouldn’t want ending up in the wrong hands.
Secure document shredding provides a simple way to dispose of those records while helping protect personal, financial and business information.
And let’s face it: getting rid of that box of paperwork you’ve been moving from one corner of the office to another feels pretty good, too.
Bring a Little or Bring a Lot
Whether you have a small stack of documents or you’ve been saving boxes for Shred Day, bring them along.
Documents will be securely shredded on-site at no cost to participants. There is no charge for residents or local businesses.
There is one important catch: once the shred truck is full, it’s full. If you have a significant amount to shred, arriving earlier in the event is a good idea.
