The only thing that Dripping Springs Real Estate Professionals love more than their jobs as REALTORS is giving back to those who make our community great.
When they learned of the Dripping Springs ISD Education Foundation’s Teacher Appreciation Program, it was an instant “Yes, we want to contribute!”
“Each month, we do something special for our teachers and staff,” said Audrey Pendergrass, executive director of the Dripping Springs ISD Education Foundation. “This month, we partnered with the Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals group to gift essential items as a small way to thank our district staff for all they do. They make such a difference in the lives of our children and we sincerely appreciate the Dripping Springs Elite team for joining in our efforts to recognize them.”
Dripping Springs Elite members along with several business colleagues donated both funds and time to show their appreciation for DSISD employees.
“Our school district is the cornerstone of our community. By dedicating resources to teachers and staff, we are investing in the future of Dripping Springs,” said Edith Austin, Stanberry Realtors agent and co-chair of Dripping Springs Elite’s Charitable Giving Committee. Edith spearheaded the project by working with the education foundation to provide “Essentials for Essentials” such as disinfecting wipes, soft drinks, waters and gum. Cheerful signage and labels underscored a heartfelt message: “We are ‘SODA-lighted’ to support the ‘EXTRA-ordinary’ things you do to impact the students in Dripping Springs ISD!”
Dripping Springs Elite invited its valued advertising partners to join the efforts, thus enabling the group to reach all employees in the district with appreciation treats. “We extend a special thanks to Capital Farm Credit, Kirby Walls Custom Builders, and Premier Residential Mortgage of Texas for their contributions,” said Edith. “With their help we were able to give even more.”
Several of the Dripping Springs Elite members stopped by Dripping Springs Elementary to say “thank you” in person.
“Our purpose as an organization is to work together to help area organizations and the people who make our community what it is,” stated Steve Mallett of Mallett Integrity Team for Keller Williams Realty and president of Dripping Springs Elite. “It’s everyone working together to maintain the value and sense of community here in the Dripping Springs area. The satisfaction that comes from finding a client the perfect home or negotiating the best price for a client who is selling is only second to giving to those who make Dripping Springs the special place it is.”
