Mark is a Zavala County native from a farm and ranch background, Mark Rutledge finished his education with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Agriculture Degree from Texas A&M University. Mark has worked as an Examiner, Loan Officer, Branch Manager and as Regional President for Capital Farm Credit over the past thirty-three years.

Mark is married to his wife Laura Rutledge. Laura is a Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University in Electrical Engineering and has a Master of Science in Data Analytics from Texas A&M Mays Business School. Mark and Laura have a daughter, Victoria, and son, Connor attending college. He operates a small cattle operation in Hays and Zavala Counties. He enjoys activities with his family, ranching and flying airplanes.
